The Cedar House

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the owners of The Cedar House (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collect, use, and share information when you visit this website or submit an inquiry through it. The Cedar House, located at 451 Cedar Lane, Sugarloaf, California, is offered for sale by its owners and listed with Compass, Big Bear Lake.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly. When you complete the inquiry form on this site, you may provide your name, email address, telephone number, the nature of your interest in the property, whether you are working with a real estate agent, and any message you choose to include.

We also collect certain information automatically, but only with your consent. If you accept cookies, we and our analytics and advertising partners record information such as your IP address, your device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you arrived at this site. These technologies do not load until you accept them through the consent banner shown on your first visit.

Cookies and tracking technologies

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the page. We may also use advertising tools such as the Meta Pixel to measure advertising we run on Facebook and Instagram. These technologies are non-essential and are not activated unless you select “Accept” on the consent banner. If you decline, or if your browser transmits a Global Privacy Control signal, they are not loaded. You may change your choice at any time by selecting Cookie settings in the footer of the home page.

How we use information

We use the information you provide in order to respond to your inquiry, to arrange showings, to send you material you request such as the property’s earnings history, and to communicate with you about the sale of the property. We use automatically collected information, when permitted, to measure site traffic and to evaluate our advertising.

How we share information

Inquiries submitted through this site are shared with the listing agent, Terri Neal (DRE #01168448), and her brokerage, Compass, so that they may assist you with the property. We also rely on service providers who process information on our behalf, including Jotform, which powers our inquiry form, Google, and Meta. We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law. We do not sell your personal information for money.

Your California privacy rights

Depending on your circumstances, California law may give you the right to request that we disclose the personal information we have collected about you, the right to request that we delete or correct it, and the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because the Meta Pixel may constitute “sharing” under California law, you may exercise this opt-out by declining cookies on this site, by selecting Cookie settings and withdrawing consent, or by browsing with a Global Privacy Control signal enabled, all of which we honor. You will not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.

Data retention and security

We retain inquiry information for as long as is reasonably necessary to assist you with the property, after which it is deleted. We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, though no method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure.

Children’s privacy

This site is intended for adults considering the purchase of real property and is not directed to children under the age of sixteen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown above.
